The Twenty-second Meeting of States Parties to the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea will be held at Headquarters, from Monday, 4, to Monday, 11 June 2012. The Meeting will be convened on Monday, 4 June, at 10 a.m. in Conference Room 1 (NLB). The provisional agenda of the Meeting is contained in document SPLOS/L.69.
In connection with item 9 of the provisional agenda (Election of 21 members of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf), States parties are reminded that the election will take place during the Meeting. With regard to the composition of delegations, States parties that have not yet done so are requested to submit their credentials, no later than Thursday, 31 May 2012, to the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea, Office of Legal Affairs (room DC2-450). Credentials should be submitted in due form as required by rule 13 of the rules of procedure for the Meeting
of States Parties (SPLOS/2/Rev.4).
