The General Assembly will hold a plenary meeting on Friday, 8 June 2012, at 3 p.m. in the General Assembly Hall, to elect the President of the General Assembly at its sixty-seventh session (agenda item 4). Immediately following the plenary meeting, the Main Committees will hold their consecutive meetings for the purpose of electing their Chairs at the sixty-seventh session (agenda item 5) and their respective Bureaux. Immediately following the meetings of the Main Committees, the General Assembly will hold another plenary meeting to elect the Vice-Presidents at its sixty-seventh session (agenda item 6). The Chairs of regional groups who have not yet communicated their nominations are requested to do so, as soon as possible, in order to facilitate the scheduled elections in a timely manner.
