- ECOSOC will hold informal “informal” consultations this morning on the process leading up to the election and on the method of election of the members of the newly established Executive Board of UN Women.
- On Wednesday, State parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities elected six members (3 re-elected, 3 new members) to fill positions to be vacated at the end of this year, plus six additional members to fill new seats added to the governing committee due to the increase in the number of States parties to the Convention.
